A golden appearance with coppery touches. Long crystalline tears wend their way transparently down the glass.
The look of a beautifully mature XO.
The elegance and finesse of Grande Champagne. The bouquet opens on vinous, mineral notes, followed by jammy fruit (orange, apricot), Williams pear and fresh almond scents.
Delicate oak, mild tobacco, grapefruit and bourbon vanilla notes appear in turn and mingle together.
This is silky, rounded and elegant in the attack, before the gourmet roundness of mature Grande Champagne Cognac warms the palate with notes of bourbon vanilla, roasted pineapple and jammy fruit (bitter orange, plum).
The delicately smoky finish offers some lingering, well-balanced aromas.

A golden appearance with hints of copper, a harmonious mixture of the orange hues particular to very old Cognac.
Hugely elegant with the great complexity of very mature Grande Champagne. The mineral nose opens up with magnificent, generous fruity notes borne up by rancio touches and silky tannins. A complex framework of jammy fruit – dried apricot, pear, plum, orange peel – mingles with notes of pastry (praline, salted caramel), bergamot, leather, mild tobacco and toasted almonds.
The attack is an ode to Cognac rancio with mineral and spicy notes. Gourmet aromas of jammy fruit, apricot kernel liqueur, bergamot, vines and black truffle then mingle together.
The finish offers up delicately smoky and spicy notes: Havana cigar, cigar box, sandalwood, undergrowth and Timut pepper. The beautifully lingering aromas form a delicate, harmonious whole.
This elixir proves to be a unique sensory experience that will be loved by fans of fine Cognac and cigars.
Premier Cru de Cognac
D’AINCOURT 1er Cru de Cognac is a remarkable blend of very old eaux-de-vie, some of which date from the beginning of last century. They all come from Grande Champagne, Cognac Premier Cru, and were selected for the elegance of their aromatic notes.
Because of the extreme rarity of the eaux-de-vie used in the blend, only around a hundred bottles of D’AINCOURT Cognac 1er Cru de Cognac are produced each year.

An amber appearance with hints of copper, as you would expect from a very old Cognac.
Hugely elegant with the great complexity of very mature Grande Champagne. It opens out into magnificent, generous aromas of fruit (orange peel, candied melon, roasted pineapple), Christmas pudding and Havana cigar, mingling with pepper and oak notes.
The attack is an ode to Cognac rancio with gourmet notes of jammy fruit (currant, prune, quince paste) and sumptuous spice (Timut pepper, cinnamon). Iris root, burnished leather, Havana cigar and mature oak then join forces. The hugely complex finish is exquisite, with delicate notes of smoke and oak enhanced by the wonderfully lingering effect.
On tasting, D’AINCOURT 1er Cru de Cognac proves to be hugely elegant with remarkable aromatic complexity to be explored in private, timeless fashion…
A sensory experience that is an invitation to contemplation.
